Creative Direction & Fashion Design
In 2007, Paul Saint Bris was entrusted with the creation of couture house Vionnet’s new visual identity, which was getting ready to be relaunched. Over the course of several years, Paul revisited the design codes of sleeping brands by digging into their history in order to make them desirable again. These included brands such as shoemaker Hebert Levine, the couture house Mainbocher or the trunk-maker Moynat, which was later sold to Group Arnault, Bernard Arnault's holding company, in 2010.

This book presents six case studies of brand revival, featuring both visual identity and fashion design works:

MOYNAT - Trunk-maker founded in 1849 in Paris
MAINBOCHER - Fashion house founded in 1929 in Paris
AU DÉPART - Trunk-maker founded in 1834 in Paris
VIONNET - Fashion house founded in 1912 in Paris
BELBER - Luggage-maker founded in 1891 in Philadelphia
STARMATIC - Camera launched by Kodak in 1959
